Style and Approach My name is Gabin and I’m a headshot and portrait photographer specializing in studio lighting portraiture, based out of Alameda in the San Francisco Bay Area.

To get you the perfect headshot / portrait, we have a simple three stage process:

Arrival and Set-Up:
When you arrive at our home studio, we’ll welcome you in, offer you something to drink, and show you where you can hang clothing, change clothes and touch up your grooming.
We’ll ask you about your needs: What are you using the photos for? What industry are you in? What do you hope to achieve with the shoot? What level of comfort do you have in front of the camera? These will help us establish a baseline so we can make sure you get what you need and feel comfortable and relaxed during your shoot.
We’ll be thinking about your clothing, skin tone, hair, and eye color, and we’ll adjust the background and lighting to make you look your best.
The Shoot:
Test shots. After we’ve set everything up, we’ll do a few quick test shots to ensure the lighting, background, and makeup looks good.
We’ll begin shooting, making sure you’re in the best poses and look confident, natural, and relaxed.
Partway through the shoot, you’ll do outfit changes, and we may change the background.
After the primary shots are done, we’ll check in with you. Once we feel like we have a great selection of photographs, we’ll check in to see if there is anything else you’d like to capture. At that point, the shoot will end, and we’ll focus on finding the best 10-20 pictures for your further review.
Our goal is to make your shoot super fun, easy, and painless. Most shoots last about 20-minutes per look/outfit..
Post Production:
We’ll send you a link to an online gallery of your images the same day.
You’ll choose your favorite image(s) to be retouched. The finalized, high-resolution retouched images will be sent back to you in 2-3 business days.
Our retouching services include making any necessary adjustments to skin texture, removing imperfections, adding brightness to teeth, hair editing, outfit adjustments, background corrections, etc.

We offer personal branding packages – in one photo shoot a client may come away with 10-15 images that can be used for social media, websites, and more. Typically, these sessions have multiple outfits, backgrounds, poses and expressions. This is an efficient way to get the photo content needed for an entrepreneur or executive
Our conveniently located studio is residential (in our home), it’s near San Francisco, and we have plenty of (free) parking – this adds convenience, we are only ~20 minutes drive from San Francisco, and there is no time needed to find or pay for parking
We take the time needed to get fantastic headshot portraits
We offer styling advice and encourage clients to bring plenty of outfits so we can get the right look
Our clients are in control – you will see the images in real time, and we adjust poses and expressions together
Our corporate headshot shoots are uniquely designed as portrait “mini-sessions” – this is different than “volume headshots” that take 45 to 90 seconds. We allocate 5-10 minutes per subject, and may produce more than one image for the subject in that time (e.g. a headshot and a media profile portrait)
We offer unmatched value for our corporate clients, our on-location corporate sessions provide more – more time per person, more photos, and the photographer and an assistant are on site

Usage Rights: We reserve the right to use any and all images created during the portrait session for advertising, display, publication or other purposes.
