Photos, in a sense, are moments frozen in time. When you look at a photo you are instantly transported back, almost like a portal, to that time and all the memories, emotions, and experiences flood your mind. Sometimes, when we lose a loved one, we use photographs to preserve their memory. One day those photos might be all you have, which is one reason they are so important. I say this in a positive light, because photos are such an incredible invention that allows us to revisit memories and treasure moments we once had, now and for generations. Whether you are looking at photos of your children as babies, reminiscing about how sweet and small they used to be, or when you’re day-dreaming of that fun tropical vacation you and your spouse went on after you eloped. Hi there! I’m Liz!
I am a proud Wife of 10 years to my amazing Husband and a Mom to our 3 beautiful daughters. I am a SoCal native, recently moved back from Southern Virginia, where my family and I lived for 8 years while my husband was serving in the Military.
Being a Stay-At-Home Mama and Military Wife are a large part of my identity, as well as homeschooling our girls, photography (duh!), plus cleaning and organizing (because typical Virgo/Type A). I also have a passion for helping people and animals, chasing sunsets, and I love a good latte! As a mom of 3 little girls I cannot function without coffee. More of my favorites include being outdoors, thriller or romance novels, a 75 degree clear day, my sweet black Labrador Ruby, going to Target, and of course taking pictures of my kids!
As much of a Type A I am, I like to believe I’m pretty “go with the flow”, especially during my photography sessions! The unplanned, unposed, “in-between” moments almost always produce the most genuine and meaningful images. Which is exactly what I’m after! I want to document you and your loved ones being none other than your true selves. Whether you are mid-laugh because your husband just cracked a Dad joke, or soaking up spontaneous cuddles from your newly independent toddler. I want the photos I capture to immediately bring you back to the instance it happened and put a smile on your face and on the faces of your loved ones. I believe everyone has a story to tell and I can help you tell it through beautiful, emotive photographs that you can share and cherish for years to come.
